Hatha Yoga

It is a mix of Hatha Yoga and slow-pace Vinyasa where proper alignment, breath and inner awareness are the key focus.  Blocks, straps, and bolsters can be used to support the body and assist practitioners.

A slow pace allows:

 - the practitioner to pay attention and explore their own body.

 - the practitioner to stay in each pose longer finding stillness within the body.

 - the teacher to provide specific cues and adjustments to help students align their bodies correctly and safely.

Gentle Hatha Yoga

There is no flow in this class. We will use chairs, the wall, blocks, and blankets.  It is addressed to:

- Seniors

- People who want an easier and slower class

- People with reduced levels of mobility

Pranayama is the practice of breath control in yoga. It involve various techniques that help regulate and expand the breath promoting physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

During pranayama, practitioners consciously manipulate the breath by controlling the inhalation, exhalation, and retention of breath.

This practice aims to balance and optimize the flow of pranayama,

(life energy) in the body, which is believed to enhance vitality and promote overall health.
